1) Complete Part 1 of the HeartCode BLS course online and bring your completion certificate along when you come to the classroom to complete the hands-on portion. The online portion takes approximately 90-100 minutes to complete and is included as part of the cost of this class.

2) Come to the SCCAD training center at the time/date specified, and complete Part 2: a 60-minute hands-on skills practice and testing session with a BLS Instructor.

3) Successful completion of both parts (online and instructor-led) is required for certification.

To Complete Part One:

  1. Press the "Continue with Registration" button at the bottom of this page, then enter your name, email address, and phone number. Pay careful attention to spelling.
  2. Once you have registered, you'll receive an email containing your personal keycode url that will take you to the online course.
  3. Create an AHA account.
  4. Complete the online course.
  5. Print your certificate and bring it with you when you come to our Training Center for Part 2.

Our training center has relocated to our new unified headquarters at 2000 Salt River Road in St Peters.

REGISTRATION & REFUNDS

Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis, and are not confirmed until registration and payment is completed online. Space is limited, so we strongly recommend registering as early as possible.

Classes may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. A complete refund will be issued if this occurs.

If you need to cancel a registration, you must do so at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund (minus a $10.00 processing fee). Cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the program date are not refundable. If possible and sufficient class space is available, registration may be transferred to another date.

Promotional codes, for online registration, are assigned and are intended for use by pre-designated users only. Registrants found to have used unauthorized promotional codes will be required to pay full course fees or have registration cancelled.

ACCREDITATION

St. Charles County Ambulance District is approved as an EMS training entity through the Missouri Department of Health, Bureau of EMS. Certificates and CEUs will be awarded upon completion of applicable courses.
